We want to send a huge congratulations to all Parkway students who ran for ASB office! Running for a leadership position takes courage, confidence, and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone. Standing in front of classmates and staff to share your ideas is no small task, and we are incredibly proud of every student who chose to participate.

5th Grade Attends Matilda JR at Numerica PAC in Wenatchee

A large group of children in costumes stand on a stage in a theater, facing an audience.
On Friday, May 29, 2026 Parkway's 5th Grade Students and Teachers were able to enjoy a wonderful presentation of Matilda JR, put on by Stages Kids of WA. From all reports, it was a fantastic day! We are so grateful for this experience. In addition to attending the show, students were engaged in some pre- and post-show enrichment activities.
  • A Stage Kids staff member, Kelsey, came to Parkway to deliver pre-show engagement activities! Her presentation included theater history, etiquette, and activities to engage students in relevant show concepts. Completion of these activities help fulfill up to four Common Core standards for theater!
  • A post-show "talk-back" wtook place immediately following the show, where students had the opportunity to ask questions of the cast.

If you'd like to learn more about Stage Kids check them out on their website StageKidsWA.org
